Connie McDonald is the fifth of seven children in Nashville, TN. First Lady McDonald is a graduate of Pearl Cohn High School, and is currently pursuing a BA in Accounting. She is an author, minister, poet, and the first lady of King Solomon Missionary Baptist Church in North Nashville. Lady McDonald was licensed on September 28, 2008 as a minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ at Seed of Abraham Ministries by her husband, and Pastor Montagne McDonald. Her personal mission in life is to encourage women to be ladies, not to accept anything less than what God has promised them, and to encourage women that they do have a voice. In 2008, Connie McDonald was inspired to write her personal testimony in book form called “Beaten but Not Defeated.” This book tells her story of how she not only lived through domestic violence, but was able to overcome it and leave with her life. She has encouraged women from shelters, to churches, and women conferences to seek safety, and be free from violence. Connie, and Montagne McDonald lives in Hermitage, TN and are parents of two sons, Deondre, and William, and are proud grandparents of one grandchild, Adrien.
